All artists working within the team have extensive experience facilitating community projects, training and education workshops within the UK and Internationally in Contemporary Dance and Theatre. We have a strong track record in working with pupil referral units and special schools and our patient and caring nature means we can teach groups of all ages and abilities. Sioda Adams (Artistic Director) – MOVEMENT/PHYSICAL THEATRE/WRITING/DEVISING

Sioda has worked extensively in schools across the country, working with early years to secondary school age in SEND settings and Pupil Referral Units. She has worked with community groups of young people and adults from marginalised areas, including youth groups and adult groups with Parkinson’s and Damentia. Her own projects include working with Refugees & adults to find voice through creativity and for wellbeing. She also worked for 4 consecutive Summers as Yoga teacher and group leader at Island retreat ‘The Island Experience’ off the coast of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil and worked as a yoga teacher & Thai Yoga Massage therapist between 2009 and 2021.

Sioda worked for Oxford World Theatre in Italy to write and direct an adaptation of Peter Pan for young people learning to speak English as a foreign language in April 2012 and was one of 3 lead artists to facilitate a community performance project with Nutkut, involving working with 175 children at special and mainstream schools from across Birmingham, for the 175th anniversary of The Town Hall. She also worked with schools for a project with Birmingham Symphony Orchestra to put on a production based on the book ‘Where The Wild Things Are’ was selected as a facilitator for Dance Touring Partnership’s ‘Everybody Dance Now’ initiative across the UK, for the tour of What The Body Does Not Remember by Ultima Vez at Warwick Arts Centre in Spring 2014.

Universities & Colleges include Chester University, Coventry University, Falmouth University (for Freefall Summer School), NSCD, Stratford College, Solihull Sixth & Chipping Campden High School, leading on the GCSE choreography & Performance module including moderation assessments. Sioda was Dramaturg and facilitator for 3rd yr performance of ‘Twelve’ by Keira Martin at Salford University. She is also a careers mentor on the DCD mentoring scheme for 3rd year students at The Royal Ballet School, advising on career options outside of dance performance.

Charlotte is an enthusiastic, passionate and intuitive performer, theatre-maker, director and puppet maker! Beginning her freelance career in 2017 after graduating from De Montfort University with a BaHon’s in Drama Studies, she has taken many roles from performer, puppet-Maker and clown. Her passion lies in her love for folklore, myth and the fantastical, often leading her to breathe new life into old stories. No audience is out-of-bounds, whether it be street theatre, specialised performances for disabled children and young people, in hospital wards or deep in the woodlands, Charlotte believes that theatre shouldn’t be contained by a stage and four black walls. She has previously worked with Bamboozle Theatre, Spark Arts and Enter Edem, on various shows and projects as well as independently with her one-woman puppetry show ‘Trinkets’ at the Nottingham Puppetry Festival (2021) and Hoopla! (2022) as well as campfire Critters at Forest Fields (2022). 

SHANADE MORROW – MUSIC/ VOCAL COACH

Shanade has been performing live for 16 years. She has worked locally both solo and as part of female trio The Pips, who recently created music for the Mapping Women’s Suffragette project at Warwick Arts Centre. Shanade has also collaborated on 3 albums with Ape Music, who produce Afro-Cuban collaborations with top International musicians, such as Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Bob Dylan, Bruno Mars and many more, to bring awareness of ocean plastic pollution, maritime issues, climate change and natural disaster relief. Shanade has been involved in local community youth projects with SYDNI Centre, Leamington Spa and The Princes Trust, inspiring young people to find confidence through music.
