Film
Síoda’s filmmaking journey began in 2020 with self-shot series Give Me A Minute, featuring Emmy-nominated composer Hannah Peel and earning recognition at international festivals. Sioda gained a Certificate in Filmmaking from National Film and Television School (NFTS) UK in 2022 and has since been commissioned to create music videos, documentaries, and visuals for independent artists and organisations. Síoda was one of six directors selected for the Prime Video programme at NFTS (25/26 cohort) to write and direct her first narrative short film FLOODGATE which was screened for an invited audience at The Vue Cinema, in London Leicester Square, in June 2026 and is set to begin it’s festival run at Bradford International Film Festival in October 2026. Síoda is currently developing new ideas for fictional narratives that put women and Northern communities at the centre.
